Ashley Graham was born on November 22nd, 1989, in Lincoln Nebraska. Two of her sisters took care of her, however she often faced bullying in school due to her large legs. Graham was initially diagnosed with A.D.H.D. shortly after her elementary education. Despite having to overcome many obstacles, including A.D.H.D. throughout her teens, Graham managed to conquer the challenges. Graham was picked up by a talent agent while she was just 12 in a Nebraska mall. She was in several magazines and on billboards before she graduated in Lincoln Southwest High School, in the year 2005. It was difficult to get employment due to her peculiar body shape at the beginning of her career. Graham was able to accept a number of catalog modeling offers over the years. But, she was always told that it was impossible for her to move beyond small tasks. Sessions castings weren't right. Thankfully, her career exploded. Sally Singer from "Vogue" interviewed her, and this was among her biggest achievements. The year 2009 was the first time she appeared in the "Glamour Magazine" piece "These Bodies are Beautiful at Any Size". Graham's Lane Bryant commercial, which was banned in a variety of countries, made her headlines repeatedly. At the time of the removal of it from YouTube the video was watched by more than 800,000 people. The controversy escalated until Graham starred alongside Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show." Graham gained notoriety and became one of most popular plus-size women of today. Grande began acting and singing as a child. In 2008, Grande got a part on the Broadway show 13, and started appearing in TV roles of a smaller size. Her big break came in 2010 when she landed a role in the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious. She played Cat Valentine, an adolescent who was enrolled in a school of performing arts. The sitcom was cancelled in 2013 and she was a part of the spinoff, Sam & Cat.
